Radio betel was born in the city of Santa Rosa de Copan - Honduras, on October 9, 1993 as an initiative of the Central American church Betel, with the aim of bringing the gospel to every creature. It is broadcast on its 91.5 fm frequency. Originally the radio is transmitted only by its frequency in fm. It operated on a schedule from 7 to 5 in the afternoon, then this was expanded, reaching today to have a schedule of 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, but with the need to reach more places, changes began to be made and that is how it is As of June 26, 2009, it was possible to carry out the transmission via the Internet, thus reaching all parts of the world and thus being able to spread the message of salvation to every creature. Currently radio betel is about to complete 29 years of transmitting and taking the message of salvation to the whole world, it is supported by offerings from the brothers of the Central American betel church and from its beginnings until today it has never maintained advertisements to maintain itself. God has been the provider and surely being so since it is a radio ministry whose primary purpose is to honor and glorify him, and transmit the message of salvation to the whole world.
